Video Announcements @ Deer Path: An example of how iMovie can be used for a musical memory slideshow or showcase of student work. This particular episode is a portion of our final broadcast of the year and was used in conjunction with Wirecast and "green screen" technology.
Student-Created Video Promotion: An example of what happens when students are allowed to get creative! Student Council teacher reps gave the executive board "executive priviledge" in creating a short promotion that would capture their peers' attention and encourage participation in an up-coming walk-a-thon. Note: This movie was created using iMovie '08, however, it could be used with any version.
The Flip Digital Video Camera
If you are looking for an even easier video production process, you might want to check out the Flip video camera. It is a pocket size camera which connects to your computer via the USB port. The Flip camera also has its own built-in editing software, FlipShare. They even have an HD version!
